After that we took Livvie to the Graves Art Gallery for some sketching time. We sat opposite each other and decided to do portraits.
This the sketch I did of Liv, mmmmmm. More like Livvie in ten years time! It looks nothing like her.Well......the hair is good!

I can see it's me, can you? :0)Tonight we had a pizza night (not my favourite thing) and Vicki joined us as well. I had to put Vicki on the blog or she'd moan. All please say hello to Vicki! Vicki will be joining us for our New Years Eve party which is by now legendary. I'm sure she'll have great fun and not tell her mum too much!!! I just hope she doesn't win the Danglesplurge Championship or she'll steal the trophy. We have decided that if she does win, she can take the trophy home for a few weeks and then it'll have to be in Emily's room after that for viewing. :0)

Both you sketches are great, but I agree, Livvie does look a trifle older than her years. But... The one of you has so captured your eyes that it's brilliant. I do hope she doesn't abandon her career as an artist to be a drummer! It would be such a waste of an inborn talent. Why were there no photos of the Goths?
Oh Sindie they are both great sketches if not an image of Livvie! The one Livvie did is excellent, I can see your eyes so clearly. Well done Livvie. Dad would be so proud of you both, hope Livvie paints as well.
Livvie's sketch is excellent. It certainly looks like you around the eyes and nose. That is the most lifelike portrait I have seen her do so far:0) Can't see Livvie in yours though!!
Both are really good but although I can see where you were coming from Sindie with the individual features, it didn't quite come together ;O)
I would say that if Livvie took her drumming seriously and really studied it, she would have a better change of going further in a career than as an artist. Not in a rock group though :O) Good female drummers are few and far between. Sadly artists are now being pumped out of college ten a penny. I do agree that she should continue in art though as she is very good and having two options is better than one :O)
We had a pizza night the other night and I didn't enjoy it much either ;O)
